The Wurkkos FC13 is an EDC linear flashlight in 18650 format equipped with a type-C charging interface. It is equipped with a latest generation SFN43 LED with an operating voltage between 2.8V and 4.2V. The maximum output achievable at the Turbo is 3400 lumens with a maximum distance reached of 239 meters. The FC13's beam is quite wide and ideal for everyday use.

Power is provided by a rechargeable Li-ion 18650 cell included in the package with a capacity of 3000mAh. The dimensions are extremely compact: 113.7 mm (length) x 29 mm (head diameter) and the weight is very light in fact and only 77 grams (without battery). The body of the Wurkkos FC13 is made entirely of aerospace aluminum alloy 6061 with a hard anodized finish type III which provides the torch with high qualities of strength, resistance to wear, scratches, bad weather and corrosion. The water resistance is given by the IP86 standard therefore submersible up to 2 meters deep even though it is not a diving torch. The Wurkkos FC13 is also a safe torch in fact it has different protection systems such as: Automatic Step Down, Electronic protection from polarity inversion and Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) Technology. The first, the automatic step down allows the torch to automatically switch from the Turbo level to the High level to prevent excessive overheating. In this way the circuits, the LED and the battery are safe from possible overheating. The second safety system on the FC13 is the electronic protection of polarity inversion: if the user inserts a battery incorrectly the flashlight understands this and prevents the circuits from being damaged. The last protection system is the temperature regulation system which is activated when the torch reaches too high temperature levels

The user interface is very simple and easy to use. The management of the interface is done through the switch located near the head. The switch is rubberized and offers good grip and good tactile feedback. Easy to find in the dark even if you are wearing gloves thanks to the deep groove of the body where it is inserted, the switch is very responsive and responds well to quick commands. On the opposite side of the switch there is the type-C charging interface that allows you to recharge the 3000mAh 18650 cell inside the flashlight without having to extract it from the body.

The Wurkkos FC13 can be disassembled essentially in three different parts: head, central body and tailcap. The head and the central body both have deep and thick dissipation fins, while the tailcap is flat and allows the use of the torch in candle mode therefore in tailstanding. The pocket clip arrives already installed on the flashlight: it is made of steel, black in color and allows you to attach the flashlight to clothing and MOLLE systems in both directions.
