Compact and powerful, then new EC20 has some excellent output, combined with a choice of LEDs and color output.
Ideal for an EDC/Pocket carry, due to it’s small form factor, the EC20 also has a strong side clip and enhanced body knurling for improved grip even when wet.
Users have a choice of emitters, with the triple LEDs.
3 x Luxeon HL4X (rated to 6500K), 3 x Nichia 519A high CRI 90> (5000K), and 3 x SFT 25R HI (6500K). A range of outputs with 2 offering cool white light, and one with a neutral white tint. RGB lights for multi color are present too, making this an attractive option, but also useful for some situations where Red/Green/Blue and a mix of colors might be useful.
At the top Turbo output of 2900 lumens you have a range of 340 metres, plenty of light to see far into the distance.
Using a high performance 18650 battery (charged via USB-C), you can also run the flashlight off of 2 x CR123A cells (16340), a useful back up power source, and with a power indicator built into the side switch, you will easily know how much battery life is left.
A magnetic tail cap gives a secure hold on metal objects, ideal for the workshop or garage.
Side switch UI is simple and effective, the EC20 also features lower levels/moonlight mode and has a mode memory/lock-out function.
As expected the EC20 is water and dust resistant to IP68 and features a strong high quality aluminum alloy body with heat treated anodising, and stainless steel black colored strike bezel for self defence.
