Using the popular slim pen type form factor, the new PT20 Penlight is powered via 2 x AAA cells, or by the included rechargeable power pack. Choice of colors are silver or traditional black.
With 3 power levels up to 500 lumens power, it has extended run times in the low (5 lumens mode), of 28 hours (using the battery pack).
The type C 10880 rechargeable Li-ion power pack has a capacity of 700mAh, charging status indicators are built in, and you can also use Ni-Mh or Alkaline AAA cells as a secondary or back up power source.
A two way stainless steel clip is included, it’s easily attached to a pocket or bag. Or clip it to a baseball cap for hands free operation using it as a work light or for camping etc.
A well made body material uses AL 6061-T6 Aluminum alloy, with a hard type III anodising finish. To withstand daily use. Rated to IP68 water resistance of 2 metres submersion (30 minutes), with a 1.5 meters drop test passed.
At only 132.5mm x 14mm size, it has a weight of 47g (including battery) making it a very small and lightweight EDC flashlight.
3 Power levels with a range of up to 80 metres
A special TIR optical lens delivers a beam of up to 80 metres, at the top level of 500 lumens. 2 lower levels are included a medium of 300 lumens and a low of 5 lumens. Acebeam are using a Luxeon HL4X LED which has a rating of 6500K for a cool white light output.
With a single tail cap switch, the UI couldn’t be easier, with a full press for On/Off, and half press to cycle the 3 light levels. The flashlight always starts at the medium level of 300 lumens by default.
This simple, yet compact flashlight has a great appeal thanks to it slim size, and choice of dual power sources.
