The ideal compact AA flashlight has arrived with the new Rider RX 2.0 from Acebeam.It features a cool white (6500K) LED capable of outputting up to 1000 lumens power, impressive for such a small flashlight.
You can run it off of the included 14500 rechargeable Li-ion battery, which has a type C charging port built into the cell, and charge incdicator LEDs. Or use the easy to find and inexpensive AA cells, either single use Alkaline or rechargeable Ni-MH ones.
At the lowest level the Rider RX 2.0 can run for as long as 58 hours (5 lumens), with a beam distance of 105 metres.

The strong 1000 lumens beam is made possible using a newly designed optical lens system (with anti scratch coatings), which balanced the beam distance/range with a larger hot spot with a good spread. The result is a beam that is both useful at shorter and medium range distances (up to 105 metres). Candela is rated to 2756cd.
Top level of 1000 lumens is possible using the 14500 Li-ion battery, with a drop down to around 600 lumens after 35 seconds), Three more levels are included, a Mid 2 of 330 lumens, a Mid 1 of 50 lumens, and a low of 5 lumens.
