Another addition to the ultra compact, but high performance range from Acebeam. This time the M2-X is multi output model with Floodlight, Spotlight and RGB Auxiliary light outputs. Yet small enough to fit into the palm of your hand.
It’s offered in a choice of Emitter, triple LED output via Cool White (up to 3200 lumens and 178 metres range), or a Nichia high CRI >90 with an output of 2000 lumens (164 metres range).
Floodlight has 6 levels with a top output of 3200 lumens, Spotlight has a high output mode and you can combine both (high/turbo levels) giving some range and spread. Top range on spotlight is 500 metres (900 lumens).

Power is via a single 18650 battery, this included in the pack, is rated to 3100mAh, and has a type C charging port built into the battery (which has over charge protection and LED indicators Red/Green) Run time are up to 38 hours on moonlight (1 lumen).
Using premium aluminum alloy body materials, it’s IP68 rated (2 metres submersion) with impact resistance of 1.5 metres.
A stainless steel clip can be attached, and thanks to the compact size of the M2-X, it’s very easy to carry around, with a size of 95.4mm x 48.5mm x 29mm (length x height x width), and a weight of 201g (including the battery).

3 x LEDs are offering in a cool or warmer white tint. Cool is rated to 6500K and the warm 5000K, has a higher CRI of >90 (with a lower top output of 2000 lumens). Benefit of cooler LED’s is increased range and output, with the warmer ones offering better color reproduction and some find the warmer (near daylight) tint easier to use for extended periods.
By including the spotlight/floodlight modes you can switch between increased range or wider beam, or combine both to a mixed lighting effect.
7 color RGB lights are not only fun to use, but can also be useful for emergency signalling with the Red/Green signal/SOS output. You can also set the colors to cycle through the 7 colors.
LEDs on the body show the mode you are in and also feature a battery level warning (green or red/flashing red).
Simple to operate with the side switch to cycle between the modes, this is a small yet powerful flashlight with many practical and useful features in a palm friendly size.
