A small but powerful flashlight, the new MT1C Pro is another new addition to the EDC range from Nitecore.
Uses high capacity but small 1600mAh 18350 Li-ion battery, it has a USB-C charging port on the cell and can run for up to 16 hours at the low level (50 lumens).
Using a new Uhi LED it’s capable of an output up to 360 metres range, very impressive for such a small light.
Body is made from aero grade Type III anodised aluminum alloy, made to last and resist marks and damage. IP68 water and dust resistance, it’s been drop tested up to 2 metres too.
Tiny size of just 88mm x 26.8mm x 21.4mm (length x head x body diameter), and a weight of 80g (with battery) making it an ideal pocket EDC offering.

Smooth reflector being used here ensures longer range compared to many EDC models flashlight. At the top level of 1000 lumens it has a candela of 32,500cd. With a powerful range of 360 metres.
It’s not just the 18350 cell you can use in this flashlight. It can also accept CR123 cells rechargeable (and 16340) and non rechargeable ones with a power level of 800 lumens using the rechargeable cells, and 500 with the single use ones (which use a lower voltage hence lower power output).
Plenty of grip on the body with grooves, and a strong stainless steel clip.
Rim guard givese 360 cover for the switch which prevents accidental activation, and also lets you tail stand the light securely.
Simple UI with a single switch design makes operation very intuitive.
