The tm12 now drives the 6 xhp20 emitters to being able to generate 12000 lumens of output, and they are powered by an innovative, high discharge and high capacity, 21700 battery, with a capacity of 4800mAh. So, compared to the Nitecore TM10K, you have 20% more power, 20% more throw, thanks to an optycal sytstem combined with crystal coating and "Precision Digital Optics Technology"; and a bigger, better performing battery.
The 21700 battery is the ideal format for this light, providing both high energy discharge performance, as well as a big capacity to power the tm12k reaching long runtimes at all levels.
The TM12K is compact enough to fit all of its 12000 lumens into a pocket of your trousers or your jacket; and its innovative and unique unibody construction allows the light to be tough and also better at heat dissipation, allowing to sustain higher outputs for longer periods of time. It is also rugged enough for your outdoor or tactical needs, with a black anodisation type III, double sided scratch resisting coating on the glass, and an IPX8 rating.
And in your hand the Tm12k will feel even better thanks to the ergonomic milling on the body with the USB-C port on the light, you can charge it with ease, especially considering the QC2.0 charging protocol adopted by the light, which allows to recharge it in 1.5 hours only. The charging port is now secured by a metallic magnetic cover, both easier to access and more reliable than the rubber one you can find on other flashlights.
The ATR technology in the TM12K manages the output of the light depending on the temperature of the internal components, ensuring the long life of the flashlight; and the 5 modes spaces all the way from 6 to 12000 lumens. All the outputs are reched with highly efficient constant circuit, without the use of PWM, allowing for a maximum runtime of 600 lumens.
But what is the power of 12000 lumens without control? Easily interact and control the light thanks to the display, showing you all the information you need (battery level, runtime, output, temperature), and the 3 electronic switches. The switches will allow you to scroll through the levels, and consent direct access to lowest and turbo mode, and also set your custom high mode. There is no worry about accidental activation, with 2 different electronic lockouts available, one just gives you momentary, instant access to the 12000 lumens of the turbo mode, and the other fully locks the light.
