Another design from Astrolux the new EA04 is a multi power source flashlight which is capable of taking a single 18650, 21700, 26650, and 26350 Li-ion batteries.
It can become either a short length body using the 26350 tube or with the 26650 tube a standard size flashlight. An idea form factor for EDC carry or camping.
A choice of colors in an attractive Green or Brown, and it features a stainless steel bezel with hardened glass cover. The flat tail ensures it can stand securely giving it some potential use as a working flashlight too.
Power levels include a step-less or stepped stages giving user a choice of how to use it.
Using a good quality hardened aluminum alloy body, Astrolux have a rugged body material which resists marks and is drop tested to 1 metre. It’s IPX6 rated for water and dust resistance. Body design also incorporates deep head cooling fins, and anti slip knurling on the body.
Size is 116mm x 41mm x 36mm (length x head diameter x body diameter) using the supplied 26650 body tube, and a weight of 170g.

Quad HP50 LEDs and a direct drive FET driver to power the EA04, and it’s huge output of 12600 lumens can reach as far as 382m in the Turbo mode. Thanks in part to a new reflector design and a beam intensity of 36481 candela.
Giving a long and wide combined beam pattern, is well suited for many users including camping, search and rescue operations, survival kits or law enforcement.
With the choice of batteries, charging is done via USB C, thanks to the protected covered port on the side of the head, to help keep dirt and water out. This gives quick charging currents up to 2A in speed, ensuring you won’t be long waiting between charges.
Large Side Switch for Fast Operation
Astrolux are using a well placed covered switch with a patterned cover, this helps ensure a solid feel and quick access to the modes. It also has a lock-out to help prevent accidental operation, or when transporting it.
3 Lighting modes are available including a stepped or step-less output, letting you pick the ideal one for your use. Step-less has the advantage of a fine degree of light output control, with the stepped stages offering convenience and quicker operation. A strobe mode is also present.
Hard HAIII coating on the aluminum alloy body resists marks and scuffs, and with a larger stainless steel bezel to protect the head area. Astrolux are using a heat treated glass cover with an anti reflective coating for improved light transmission.
This versatile flashlight is even more appealing in part due to the 4 battery types, and the ability to use a shorter or longer body tube. And the flexible UI, it can make a great EDC or a main flashlight for multiple uses.
