It uses an SBT90.2 LED, and its powered via a high capacity 46120 (42,000mAh) battery pack. This features a very low internal resistance, and it ideally suited for high power applications. With a runtime up to 84 hours in Moonlight Mode.
A built in type C charging port allows rapid charging of the flashlight but also it can be used as a power bank.
The head and body sections have deep grooves in order to provide better heat dissipation and improved runtimes.
It comes with a removable high strength handle, which is made from the same high quality premium aluminum alloy, Which is heat treated and hardened for additional strength and durability. Astrolux have rated the MFO0 V5 for IPX 6 water resistance, so it can be used in all types of weather conditions including heavy rain. The lens cover is made from high strength tempered glass with anti-reflective coatings, the flashlight has been dropped tested to a distance of one metre.
