Coast Introduces Slayer Dual Beam 1150 Lumens Compact EDC Flashlight

Coast Introduces Slayer Dual Beam 1150 Lumens Compact EDC Flashlight

A new addition to their every growing flashlight range, the Slayer from Coast has a new flat profile body with integrated clip (which is removable), making it a great EDC option for those who are working, or in a trade, as well as a general EDC flashlight.

With it’s built in battery which is rechargeable via the USB-C connector, the Slayer can run for up to 11 hours (flood low mode 42 lumens), and can be charged from flat to full in under 2 hours.

Twin beam outputs let you pick between a flood and spotlight, with the spot beam capable of reaching up to 106 metres., and the Turbo up to 130 metres.

The body of the Slayer is made from high quality aerospace grade aluminum alloy, which is heat treated for additional hardness, and features grooves on the side for improved grip.

It is rated to IP67 water and dust resistance, and can be used in all weather conditions including heavy rain (and water submersion), and it can survive very dusty environments too, perfect for users who are working on sites where this could be a problem.

It’s an ideal pocket size at just 139mm (5.5”) length, with it’s slimline profile can be slipped into a pocket, jacket or bag with ease.

Twin Beam Floodlight and Spotlight 5 modes, with dual switch UI

Using a dual output beam the Slayer has you covered be it up close activities or if you need to see into the distance.

Flood mode has 3 levels from a Low of 42 lumens, Medium rated to 205 lumens and a High with 380 lumens output. This gives a very wide evenly spread beam thanks to the optical lens built into the design. Well suited for inspections, or where you need a larger area lit up.

Spot mode has a single power level of 540 lumens, with a range of up to 106 metres.

Top power is rated to 1150 lumens and pushed out to 130 metres distance. The 5 levels give users a wide choice of output, making it a versatile lighting option. Two switches give quick and easy operation of the flashlight, with a charge level indicator LED built into the front switch.

USB-C port is covered to protect it from water and dirt, and the Slayer comes with a charging cable.Strong clip can also be removed if you wish, yet it’s a good option for those with a pocket carry or uniform, even a bag pocket.
