A nice small flashlight from Cyansky, this model has a small form factor, yet able to push out an impressive 1300 lumens to a distance of 240 metres. It’s available in Green and Black colors.
The P12R Multifunctional flashlight has 4 power levels from 5 lumens, up to the top Turbo of 1300 lumens. Two special modes are the Strobe and SOS (1300 and 300 lumens output). A run time up to 116 hours is possible at the lowest level of 5 lumens.
Power is via a supplied 14500 rechargeable Li-ion battery, with a capacity of 800mAh. You can also use the common widely available AA cells (Ni-MH rechargeable or alkaline).
Charging the Li-ion 14500 cell can be done in the flashlight via the type C port which is built in. It takes around 2.5 hours for a full charge from flat to full.
Cyansky are using the aero grade quality aluminum alloy body, and a high strength tempered glass lens with anti reflective coatings on both sides. This gives a light transmission of 98%.
A magnetic base can be attached to metal surfaces, and the two way clip can also be useful for pocket/jacket carrying or on a bag.
The P12R is rated to IP68 water and dust resistance, up to 2 metres underwater, and it’s been impact tested from 2 metres height. Gold plated spring helps ensure solid connection, and absorb impacts protecting the cell from damage.

Using an Osram P9 LED, this model has 4 levels from 5, 50, 300 and Turbo of 1300 lumens. The smooth reflector, and rated candela of 14400cd can also push the light out as far as 240 metres, for it’s size the P12R doesn’t disappoint in performance. Emergency signally is possible with the 2 special modes, Strobe and SOS.
UI is easy to grasp with the single large side switch, this also has a memory function and built in charge/battery level indicators. The 4 stages of battery level show the status of the cell in 25% increments, with solid/flashing Green/Red stages. And the metal side switch has a quality feel to it.
Temperature tested to -30 degrees up to 55 degrees Celsius, it’s a reliable flashlight for use in all environments.
