This updated model from Fenix has some useful enhancements (including a magentic tail and increased range/power), it is sure to appeal to users looking for a compact style flashlight without compromises.
With 5 levels ranging from a super low ECO mode of 5 lumens, all the way up to the top output of 1700 lumens, it also features a strobe and warning light mode. Range is up to 273 metres in Turbo (1700lm) and run times can be as long as 260 hours (Eco 5lm mode).
The Fenix is powered via a high capacity 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery (3400mAh). A built in USB Type C port is on the flashlight and lets you conveniently charge the cell in the flashlight.
A stainless steel 2 way clip make attaching it to a cap or bag secure and fast, and the tail cap has a magnetic base so you can use it as a working light if needed.
The E28R V2 flashlight has a high grade aero quality aluminum alloy body with hard anodized finish for wear resistance. It is IP68 rated for water submersion, and it’s been drop tested to 1.5 metres.

5 Power levels with 2 special modes
By offering a wide range of levels Fenix lets users pick the output they need, and with 2 lower modes of 50 and 5 lumens (Low and ECO), perfect for close up. Longer distances are catered for with a medium of 150 lumens and a high of 600 lumens. Topping it off is the Turbo mode of 1700 lumens with it’s range of 273 metres, thanks to the mixed beam candela of 18588cd.
Two additional modes are present a standard strobe (1700 lumens) and a warning light mode which is a super low 1 lumen.
A quality metal side switch is in the Fenix bronze color theme, it also has a built in LED with both charge and battery level indicators in the middle.
