This new light from Fenix is a great choice for those looking for a flashlight with a high power output, good range, and offers the benefits of a dual button switch control.
It’s top output of 3600 lumens is plentiful for most users, with 4 levels in total including a lower 30 lumens mode.
A higher capacity 21700 battery is included, this has a rating of 6000mAh, a notable improvement on the older generation. Type C charging is built into the cell, with run time of around 60 hours at the lowest output (30 lumens). The type C port can also be used as a power bank.
A newly designed body has tungsten hard points on the stainless steel bezel, a matt finish with fine knurling provides excellent grip on the body of the light in all types of weather. Dual gold plated springs protect the battery from damage, and the aluminum alloy body is heat treated and type A6061-T6 making it stronger and more damage resistant.
It’s been tested to a drop distance of 1 metre, and has passed the IP68 certification for fully water submersible and dust resistant design.

Beam output on the TK17 has more range then your typical flashlight, and can reach up to 330 metres distance in the Turbo mode or 3600 lumens, 3 additional levels are present with a high of 1000 lumens, medium of 350, and a low of 30 lumens. With a strobe mode rated to 3000 lumens power.
The dual tail switches provide rapid operation of the flashlight, with access to momentary, Turbo and strobe modes, and with different sized/shaped buttons, it’s very easy to tell each button by feel alone. Near the switches is an LED for checking the battery status (4 stages).
