A new powerful model from Fenix, boasting a high output, longer range beam, and a choice of 2 modes of operation a Tactical mode or Duty mode. Operated via a unique toggle switch giving quick control (Fenix call this Felxisensa), fast access to Turbo, Strobe, and power levels including a lock-out via this well placed switch (next to the main power button).
It’s an ideal tactical model for single handed operation. It features a powerful beam up to 480 metres, with a top level of 3200 lumens. 4 levels in total with a low output of 30 lumens for extended run times up to 50 hours (low 30 lumens).
Power is via a high capacity Li-ion battery, with a rated capacity of 5000mAh it is charged via a concealed USB-C port on the body of the flashlight, preventing dirt and water from entering and avoiding the problem of a damaged port. You can also use the AFL-18 adapter (add on extra) to use the flashlight with 18650 cells.
Tungsten steel hard points on the bezel for self defence and glass breaking in an emergency, and it has strong double springs to ensure solid battery contact and to prevent battery impact damage.
There are many available add on items for the TK22R flashlight, including remote switches, rail mount, a quick release weapon mount, diffuser tip, traffic wand and add on red filter. Making this a highly customisable tactical model.
High grade aero quality aluminium alloy body, with hardened glass cover with HAIII hard coating on the aluminum to stop marks and damage. It is rated to IP68 even with the port cover open, making it dust resistant and water submersible. Fenix have drop tested it to 1 metre too.
It’s size is just 157.9mm x 39.8mm x 25.4mm (length x head body diameter), with a weight of 218g (battery included).
Choice of Tactical and Duty Modes, with 4 power levels and toggle switch UI
Using the clever toggle switch on the tail cap, users can cycle between the mods quickly and effectively, as well as activating a lock-out function.
Tactical mode gives you direct access to Turbo and Strobe functions (both rated to 3200 lumens), Duty mode has 4 power levels a lot of 30 lumens, medium 350 lumens, and a high of 1000 lumens, sharing the same Turbo output of 3200 lumens at the Tactical mode. The Duty mode is ideal for EDC or general use. Tactical is perfect for demanding situations where you might want quick use of strobe or Turbo.
Single handed operation thanks to the dual switch design on the tail cap, and the hidden USB port also houses a charge level indicator for the status.
Body has a fine knurling design for superior grip even when wet.
