Following on from the BL50 model released earlier this year, Imalent now present a more powerful flashlight using the same small form factor body style, with a dual light output, White and Red LEDs.

With a total of 6 power levels and a top Turbo mode of 6000 lumens, down to a moonlight mode with 10 lumens (with a run time of 53 hours), Imalent also included a Red Auxiliary light source useful for preserving night vision.

Battery is built in (18650) and rated to 3000mAh and capable of handling the high current drain. Charging via the build in USB-C port.

A top OLED panel gives clear and important information on output level and battery status.

It’s a tough little light too, with a body construction made from type III hardened aluminum alloy, it’s been drop tested to 1.5 metres, with a water/dust resistance rating of IP68, it can handle extreme weather with ease.

It’s a great pocket friendly size at 93.5mm x 34.5mm x 28mm (length x body x head diameter), and 148g in weight (with battery).

Using the well respected Cree XHP 70.2 LED for the cool white beam, a powerful 6000 lumens top output, with 6 levels including 3000, 1400, 600, 200 lumens and a moonlight mode with 10 lumens ideal for close up lighting needs.

Red LED has a good level of power at 100 lumens, more than enough to see where you are walking, making it useful for night vision or being more discreet.

A solid candela rating of 30,200cd gives a good range of 347 metres, with a well balanced beam spread.

Two switches on the BL70, a tail cap one and side switch next to the OLED panel, the UI is simple to pick up and remember, with shortcuts to moonlight/turbo mode, mode memory function and lock-out for safe transportation. A new textured grip gives a more secure and comfortable hand holding experience.
