With a dual power source for this model, Coast has provided a slim, pocketable yet useful flashlight which can be used at home or at work for many tasks.
Dual power source is via the included Zithion Power Pack for maximum output and performance, or with 2 x AA cells which can make for a useful back up option. It also features a USB-C charging port, and has charge/level indicators build in.
A powerful 1000 lumens Turbo mode can reach up to 134 metres, a good distance for it’s compact size, yet it also comes with lower levels down to 20 lumens for battery saving or if you are closer to subjects and don’t require as much power. The moon glow 20 lumens mode lasts up to 67 hours run time.
It comes with a two way stainless steel clip (reverse it around to fit on a cap), body is designed for a comfortable grip with plenty of grooves all around, and Coast also supply 4 x “bite caps” so you can put it on the end of the flashlight and hold it easily and firmly with your teeth.
Body material uses top grade AL 6061-T6 Aluminum alloy, with hard type III anodising finish. Rated to IP54 water and dust resistance it’s safe to use in all types of conditions.
Ideal size for an EDC carry with it’s slim profile at just 14.9cm in length and a weight of only 113g (including battery pack).
Pure beam optics with “Twist Focus” Floodlight or Spotlight
With 5 power levels to pick from users will find they have a good range of outputs from the Turbo of 1000 lumens, 670 and 370 lumens mid levels, with a lower 150 lumens and moon glow mode of 20 lumens.
Pure beam optical lens system has a smooth powerful beam without any halos or unwelcome hot spots, it’s a clean output which also has a unique Twist focus. Adding to the versatility of this flashlight, simply twist the head to switch from a wide flood like beam covering a big area, to a more concentrated focus spotlight beam when extra range is required. Head is easy to twist thanks to the grooves it has.
Single tail cap switch for rapid and easy operation, makes the Coast XT30R a welcome addition to the compact EDC range.
