A classic design from Streamlight, this time they have a new powerful offering which has an impressive output and features the same rugged build quality you expect from the brand.
The HL 6 has a total of 3 levels with the top 5300 lumens, down to a low mode of 450 lumens for extended run times. (up to 12.5 hours on the low mode). It also features a strobe mode for self defence.
Using the SL-B48 battery pack, it takes two of these to power the flashlight, and these rechargeable Li-ion cells are charged via the USB C split charging cable (both can be charged at the same time).
Top tier finising on the HL-6, it has a rubber grip on the flashlight to help provide better grip, and also to improve comfort and insulate from heat. Anti roll head design, and the crenulated bezel can be used for glass breaking too.
Aero quality machined Aluminum alloy is corrosion resistant and provides a durable construction for long tern use. It’s been rated to IPX7 for up to 1 metre waster submersion for 30 minutes, with 1 metre impact testing.
The HL-6 is only 26.6cm in length with a weight of 590g (with the included power packs).

Streamlight are using their TEN-TAP programming. You have a choice of 3 modes. High/Strobe/Low, High on it’s own, or Low/Medium/High. So you can customise the operation of the single side switch to suite your needs. Shortcuts to High/Low, Strobe are included and a lock-out is present.
3 levels here are the high 5300 lumens for ultimate power and range, Medium of 1500 lumens and Low of 450 lumens.
The high candela of 80,000cd, using a custom optical lens gives a superior beam pattern with a big range of 566 metres.
