Second model from Klarus in the wedge shape/slim type flashlight category, this version has a smaller profile and more pocket friendly design.
Yet it still retains a powerful output of up to 3000 lumens in Turbo, with 5 levels in total, with a lowest output of 15 lumens, and 3 strobe modes SOS, Strobe and Beacon.
It can reach up to 170 metres range in Turbo, and has a large capacity 1500mAh built in battery, with USB-C charging and fast charging time of around 1 hour from flat to full. Runtime up to 40 hours is possible at the lowest level.
Some useful technology is built in, including a proximity sensor for safety which ramps down the power to prevent scorching or burning with close objects. A strong pocket clip is supplied (can be removed) and it’s been treated to resist corrosion too.
Body shape is ergonomically designed for secure grip and comfort, with angled switches on top allowing you to reach them with ease in single handed operation. Hardened ceramic beads for emergency glass breaking are built into the front of the flashlight.
Aero grade aluminum alloy helps with heat dissipation and provides a rugged body which can survive outdoor use for many years. It has passed a drop test of 1 metre, and has been rated to IPX6 water and dust resistance.
