This “bar” style light from Ledlenser is an ultra compact work light designed for tradespeople and work, such as building sites, inspections, etc.
Powered via 2 x AAA batteries (both Ni-MH rechargeable and Alkaline cells can be used), which are common and easy to find.
A textured surface for improved grip, it also has a built in clip to attach to a work top or pocket/bag.
It features higher and lower levels of 160 lumens and 40 lumens (flood) and a spotlight mode. With a maximum range of 50 metres (spotlight).
Run times can be up to 20 hours (flood 40 lumens), and even the 160 lumens mode runs for 5 hours in total. It’s long endurance means you can rely on the W2 to last an entire shift, and when it’s time to change batteries, just drop in a new fresh set.
A strong plastic housing is made to survive heavy use in a working environment.It’s rated IP54 for dust and water protection, which is waterproof even with pressure spraying.
The W2 work light is slim enough to fit in any pocket or tool bag with a head diameter of 24mm, width of 17mm and a depth of 24mm. Weight is 65g.
2 Modes including a wide and spot with 3 power levels
The two type of LED here give users a choice between a wider more spread out beam pattern (using a COB LED 12W) and a normal LED provides the more focussed spot beam.
Standard output for the flood is 160 lumens, with a range of up to 50 metres, a lower level of 40 lumens is available in this mode too. This mode is perfect for inspections, or working due to it’s wide even beam. Color temperature is rated between 6000K – 7500K for a cool white light output.
The Spotlight has an output of 80 lumens (run time up to 10 hours), for when you need more distance to see into the darkness.
The integrated switch makes switching between modes and output levels simple and effortless, and the W2 work light also has a specially designed transport lock to prevent accidental activation when carrying or storing the light.
