Power is via a USB C chargeable 14500 rechargeable Li-ion cell (920mAh), but it can also be powered via normal AA cells including Alkaline and Ni-MH rechargeable ones giving users increased flexibility powering the flashlight.
A clever design allows the bezel to be reversed, in the forward position it’s suitable for glass breaking and self defence, but can be reversed for a more discreet look when carry it.
A large protruding tail cap switch gives quick and simple one handed operation, with 2 power levels and a strobe mode.
Run times are up to 6 hours 30 minutes on the lowest level (50 lumens).
7 Tritium glow bar slots are available, 6 in the tail housing and 1 in the cap. Which can give you an attractive customisable look for your own flashlight.
It’s IP68 rated for water and dust resistance (2 metres under water for 30 minutes), and drop tested to 1.5 metres. High quality materials are used throughout the construction including aluminum alloy with the type III anodized layer, a stainless steel sandblasted button, and stainless steel bezel and clip.
This flashlight is quite tiny in size particularly for a longer range model at just 102mm x 35mm x 16mm x 23mm (length x head x body x tail diameter), with a weight of 103.3g (with battery).
Long Range 430 metre beam with 2 power levels and strobe
Using an Osram KW CSLNM1.TG LED this is rated to 635 lumens at the top level, with a lower mode of 50 lumens, a strobe is also included (20Hz speed), ideal for self defence.
The range of 430 metres is made possible by the smooth reflector which gives a candela of 17,556cd for a tighter beam profile which has a good range even at lower power levels.
With a choice of power you can use the 14500 rechargeable cell with built in type C port, this have an enhanced capacity of 920mAh for extended run times, or use the normal AA cells for a back up or spare power source.
A simple easy to find mechanical tail cap switch means operation is very simple and intuitive, and possible even one handed.
The stainless steel bezel has an aggressive shape, which gives it some effectiveness as a deterrent or in use. When it’s not needed you can simply reverse it around to ensure it doesn’t snag on any items such as a bag or clothing. Also included is a two way stainless steel clip for secure attachment.
