This newly designed headlamp is aimed at users who want a compact, yet powerful model which has both White and Red light outputs.
With a top level of 1000 lumens it has a range of 220 metres, with 4 levels on White and Red. (Red up to 130 lumens in highest mode). Red mode also have a flashing function too.
Fenix have give the HL45R the option to use the included Li-ion battery pack (high capacity of 1900mAh), or you can use 3 x AAA cells for a back up power source. USB C charging is possible with the battery pack (4 stage indicator) with a charge time of approx. 3 hours.
Adjustable and removable headband has perforations, to reduce sweating, a silicone bead on the inside for additional grip, and high visibility reflective markings.
A proximity sensor lets you use your hand to turn the headlamp On or Off, just by waving it front of the lens (10cm sensitivity on the sensor).
Body is made from high grade aluminium alloy on the front for heat dissipation, with polycarbonate on other areas, it’s drop tested to 1.5 metres, and it rated to IP66 weather resistance.

With dual outputs of White and Red, users have an ideal headlamp for many tasks, with a range up to 220 metres in White light (1000 lumens), and the Red light for helping with night vision.
A clever feature is the ability to change the focus of the beam (white light), simply rotate the front lens to adjust the beam from a wide floodlight, to a more concentrated focus spotlight, picking the beam pattern that suits your needs perfectly. A newly designed lens give optimal results regardless of setting.
Dual switches are intuitive and easy to use, with the rotary switch and electronic switch in the middle makes for a good user experience with or without gloves on.
