New Nitecore EX7 Triple Beam Output 6000 Lumens Flashlight

New Nitecore EX7 Triple Beam Output 6000 Lumens Flashlight

Powerful and versatile addition to their extensive range of flashlights, Nitecore’s new EX7 is compact, powerful and has multiple beam outputs giving you the choice between a wider beam or a more concentrated one for longer reach.

Luminshield output is a blazing 6000 lumens, with Spotlight and Floodlight modes which go down to 30 lumens power. Want a mix of spill and range? No problem simply use the mixed lighting mode for a wider beam which also combines a spotlight function too.

Next generation 21700 battery is replaceable, and has a high capacity of 5500mAh and charged via USB-C, fast charging speeds around 2 hours 50 minutes (5V 2A), with long run times up to 570 hours (in ultralow mode 1 lumen).

Nitecore are using top grade AL 6061-T6 Aluminum alloy body with hard type III anodising finish. Rating the flashlight to IPX8 water resistance of 2 metres submersion, with a 2 meters drop test. Toughened scratch resistant coated lens cover, make this model ideal for many outdoor adventures and use in all type of extreme weather. Stainless steel clip provides a secure way to attach to a belt, pocket or bag. Base is magnetic too making is a useful flashlight around the house or at work.

It’s still fairly compact overall despite the big power and features, 130mm x 35mm x 28mm, and 140g (without battery).

20 Core LED output, with a longer range 500m beam

Using the NiteLab MS515S LEDs offering unrivalled performance with energy efficiency which provides high power and extended battery run times. Compared to the single Core UHI 20 it consumes far less power (only 60%), and the benefit of 20 cores allowing a focussed beam, or wider spread/flood light output, or a combination of both.

Peak candela in spotlight mode is 63,470cd, with 3000 lumens power output, top mode in flood is 1500 lumens, with the 6000 luminshield is in the mixed/combination beam mode, with a range of 400 metres.

Being able to select the beam profile, spotlight, floodlight and mixed, greatly increases the scope of use for the flashlight, for search and rescue a longer throw is often required, where some activities like exploration or mountaineering might benefit from a wider flood like beam.

A large single side switch is easy to find just on touch alone, it also makes the UI very easy to pick up with access to Turbo/Strobe and with a memory function and electronic lock-out.

Battery and power level LED’s surround the switch ensuring you can see the status of the flashlight quickly and easily.
