Using their newly developed Nitelab LED’s, Nitecore now bring their new technology to the NU27, with variable color temperatures giving users 3 types of light suitable for various activities. It also includes auxiliary red LEDs too, so you have all bases covered with this model.
2 color options Alpine White or Shadow Black.
Cool white is ideal for longer distances and more output, Neutral tends to be closer to daylight which is more natural and makes color reproduction more accurate, with Warm output being known for it’s reduced glare and usefulness in rain and foggy conditions. Red LED output is either a static light or flashing mode useful for safety or repelling insects which dislike the light output of Red.
Nitecore also provide SOS and Beacon modes too (400 lumens),and they have supplied a diffuser sack so you can easily turn it into a camping light if needed, or use the bag to store the light and charging cable.
A built in battery is rated to 850mAh capacity, and can be charged via USB-C. Run time is up to 57 hours in the 6 lumen main white LED mode.
Made from high strength polycarbonate materials, which are very strong, yet lightweight. The rating for the NU27 is IP66 water and dust resistance, with an impact test pass up to 1 metres drop distance.

Newly developed dual core MCT (multi color temperature) LED’s give the unique output of 3 temperatures for the main White light, Cool is rated to 4500K, Neutral 5500K, and the Warm at 3000K.
5 Power levels are available for the White light, from 600 lumens down to a very low 6 lumens. SOS and Beacon are both 400 lumens. 3 Modes for the Red LED’s with a high of 15 lumens, low of 5 lumens, and a slow flashing safety mode of 15 lumens.
Truevision design with the lenses on the LED’s gives improved output, better reflection area, and better range, and beam quality.
Dual switches give quick and easy operation, with a different size for each so they can be felt by touch alone. You can also lock out the light for safe transportation.
A 4 stage battery level indicator is built into the main body.
