This specialised material E40 from RovyVon has a familiar slim/wedge style we have seen in other models from this maker. It has a powerful twin LED output, and useful triple LED axillary lights, and it’s offered in two type of premium titanium finishing.
The first is a stonewashed on it’s own provides a slightly textured finish, joined by the option of a sandblasted and stonewash version, this has a more matte effect and gives additional grip on the surface of the flashlight. Both types of finish offer improved scratch and mark resistance, compared to normal titanium.
Titanium is a great choice of material, it’s light and very strong, yet it’s very corrosion resistant and has a luxury look and feel.
Users can also pick dual slots for Green/Blue tritium vials for even more visual flare.
Twin front LED’s have a powerful 3500 lumens output, they are joined by the three auxiliary LEDs, a Neutral white for a more natural color reproduction (5000K), Red for improved night vision and visibility, and UV (365nm) which is widely used for detecting fluids, dust, and counterfeit bank notes etc.
The main white Light can reach up to 200 metres (with a candela of 10,000cd), for a mixed beam output ideal for general use or working environments.
A clip is pre-attached at the back, but this can be removed with a hex key as two bolts hold it in place.
USB-C charging is built into the side of the flashlight and it supports 5V 3A faster charging speeds too for the built in Li-ion battery.
To ensure safety a proximity sensor is housed in the front of the light between the two main LEDs, this drops the power output if it detects an item close to the front of the lens, for safety reasons this is a useful addition, as it prevents damage to any items or the front of the flashlight at high power settings.
RovyVon have used top end materials for this model and it’s not only attractive but practical too, with water and dust resistance. It has a tripod switch UI, with two main switches on the top, with a one on the side. This gives you quick access to multiple modes and settings including Turbo and Strobe.
