A new addition to Nitecore’s headlamp range, the HA29 UHE is designed for many scenarios including high-altitude mountaineering, snow sports, and extended expeditions in extreme conditions.
Delivering up to 1,200 lumens with a beam reaching 170 metres, it features six dual-core NiteLab MCT UHE LEDs offering three colour temperatures and three CRI levels to suit a wide range of outdoor scenarios, from fog/snow/rain, difficult terrain, and night running.
Powered by the all-new HLB2500 All-Weather Li-ion Battery Pack, it operates at temperatures down to -40°C (-40°F) and altitudes up to 10,000 metres outperforming normal Li-ion cells dramatically. Charged via USB-C, the MBC10 battery case accepts the HLB1500 Li-ion pack or three standard AAA batteries, which offers an easy to find back up battery option.
Construction is premium, with a die-cast magnesium alloy heat sink for efficient thermal management and a high-strength, low-temperature-resistant PC plastic body, rated IPX8 for waterproofing and impact resistant to 1 metre. Headband is perforated, with silicone beads to prevent sweat on your eyes, and improve grip if used on a helmet, and features reflective markings.

Compact dimensions of 71mm x 43mm x 38mm and a weight of just 112g (including battery, bracket to attach it to a hat or strap, and headband), it is lightweight enough for extended use.
3 colour temperatures, all-weather power, and a modular battery system
The Nitecore features six dual-core MCT (Multiple Colour Temperature) UHE LEDs paired with the unibody optical dual-lens system. Three tints are: 3,000K warm light (CRI 98) for foggy conditions, rain, and eye comfort; 4,500K neutral white light (CRI 85) ideal for steep slopes paths with snow or mud; and 6,500K cool white light (CRI 73) for bright, efficient illumination during camping or night running, or for maximum range.
A red auxiliary light mode with two brightness levels helps preserves night vision and supports emergency signalling.
Two different textured buttons enable easy one-handed operation, even with gloves. Five brightness levels (TURBO 1,200lm, HIGH 600lm, MID 300lm, LOW 100lm, ULTRALOW 8lm) and three special modes (Slow Flashing, SOS, Beacon) are available. A dual-button lockout – press and hold both buttons simultaneously – prevents accidental activation during storage or transport. Power indicators jn 4 stages are simple and easy to read.
A solid choice for mountaineers, snow sports, and dedicated outdoor adventurers who need reliable, adaptable illumination in the difficult conditions, backed by Nitecore’s modular power system for extended field use.
