Nitecore’s latest addition to the “wedge style” flashlight series, this new model has some power in it’s beam and features the newer Nitelab LED’s which give improved output and efficiency.
6 levels including a high power 6500 lumens in Turbo (Lumin Shield), and range up to 400 metres.
A new high capacity built in battery is rated to 2500mAh, and is charged via the USB-C port on the flashlight, which also supports quick charging at just 1.25 hours from flat to full capacity. Run times are up to 61 hours in the 15 lumens (moonlight) mode.
An OLED display shows useful information to the user such as battery level, mode/run time estimate. A back stainless steel clip is attached (it can be removed) so you can securely clip it onto a belt/pack or other item.
Build is premium level, with a stainless steel body coated with a PVD titanium layer for additional protection and durability. Nitecore have tested it to IP54 water and dust resistance, drop tested to 1 metre, and it can be used in all type of weather conditions. A new body design offers more grip compared to previous versions.
It’s slim form factor makes it an ideal EDC carry at just 133.6mm x 34.54mm x 22.61mm, and a weight of 160g including the built in battery.
Dual LEDs with 6 power levels and a range of up to 400 metres
Using 2 x Nitelab Uhi 20 LEDs, these feature excellent beam output and power efficiency.
With a total of 6 output levels and strobe, this also includes lower ones such as Moonlight and Low (15 and 100 lumens). With Mid and High reaching 400 and 1200 lumens. Thanks to the new LEDs you have a search mode of 3000 lumens and maximum range of 400 metres giving a more concentrated beam for longer distances. The top level of 6500 lumens (luminshield) has a range of 370 metres.
Dual switches with a flat and raised one offer simplicity in operation of the flashlight, and two lock out modes (partial lock and full lock) make for safe transportation.
