This new exciting flashlight model has a choice of 2 battery types, the smaller and shorter 18350 battery for a more compact EDC style, or the longer 18650 version which offers longer run times.
Both types have a total of 4 different color options, Black, Green, Blue, and Orange.
Two types of LED emitters 3 x XP-G4 or 3 x Nichina 519A. With a the G4 offering a Cool output and more range, and the 519A at lower 1400 Lumens, but with a higher CRI for more accurate and pleasing color reproduction. Beam distance is up to 182 metres (Cool White).
In addition to these main LED output, Skillhunt have incorporated RGB LEDs and a UV output, ideal for use identifying liquids, dirt/dust and counterfeit notes etc.
Both the 18350 and 18650 flashlights have a built in USB magnetic charging port for quick and easy battery replenishment. Up to 1A for the 18350 model and up to 2A for the 18650 version.
They also feature a two way stainless steel clip, stainless steel bezel, and a magnetic base.
Body design has a new style with extra knurling on the tail cap, head grooves help to dissipate the heat build up. Using aero grade aluminum alloy body with type III hard anodising, these flashlights are solid and well made. IPX8 water and dust resistance, with a drop test of 1 metre.
18350 version is just 79.3mm in length, with the 18650 one still quite compact at 109.6mm. Weights are 61g and 68g (18350 and 18650 model).
Choice of Cool or Neutral White LEDs, 7 in 1 RGB/UV Output
7 LED output is available with Triple main LEDs (Cool or Neutral White), 3 RGB and one UV output.
Using a TIR optical lens, Skilhunt have managed to create a very effective and pleasant beam output from these flashlights. With the Cool white being more powerful at 2000 lumens, v the 1400 lumens for the Neutral white (high CRI 90+).
As usual with Skilhunt users have multiple power outputs right down to a very low 0.6/0.4 lumens output in firefly/moonlight mod. A choice of Turbo levels, 4 power levels for the RGB LEDs and 3 levels for the UV output. RGB lights can be mixed for 9 stages in stepless mix. Useful for entertainment, yet also of some user for specific uses Red and Green are commonly used at night for hunting and improved night vision.
The UI is comprehensive but can be simple if desired via the single side switch. It has a battery level indicator, and lock-out function, as well as a location indicator mode too.
