Sofirn IF23 - A New Compact Yet Powerful Dual Beam Flashlight From Sofirn

A new compact yet powerful dual beam flashlight from Sofirn, featuring a main LED emitter which has a more focus based beam, with the side light offering a more flood type output. The Side panel also has RGB LEDs incorporated into the body.

The main focus beam LED offers an output up to 4000 lumens in Turbo (with a range of 247 metres), with the side one reaching 500 lumens. At the lowest level of 1 lumen (moon), the spot can run for as long as 27 days, with the flood light running for an impressive 230 hours.

Running in a standard high capacity 21700 cell, it is easy to replace or carry a spare with you.The IF23 Flashlight also features a strong magnetic base, making it very convenient to use as work light source.

It’s compact size of 4.7” (120mm) length and 1.2” (30.5mm) in diameter, with a weight of 4oz (125g) without battery, it is very easy to carry this around in a pocket or bag.

Sofirm have made the IF23 to a high standard, using heat treated aluminum alloy case material, with a rated IP68 weather resistance.

Dual Beam for Flood and Spotlight with RGB LEDs

The IF23 features both types of LED output for a wider flood beam and a more focussed spot (XHP50B) with greater range.

This verstatile design allows it to be used for many applications, such as an EDC, a camping or work light, where a wider beam could prove more useful.

Spot beam has an angle of 15 degrees, with Flood at 85 degrees.Both spot and flood have 5 power levels from a moonlight mode of 1 lumen, up to a top Turbo of 4000 lumens (spot), and 500 lumens (flood).

A step less brightness setting can also be used giving a power level between 1 – 4000 lumens.In addition to this 3 strobe modes are available, normal strobe, SOS, and Beaon.

RGB leds on the side light area, can cycle colors from red/green/orange/cyan/blue/pink/purple hues.

Simple UI with single side switch

Controlling the IF23 couldn’t be easier with the well positioned side switch, this also gives you direct access to Turbo and Strobe modes, and Moonlight mode.

A low voltage/battery indicator will also glow red when the cell needs to be charged.

Despite it’s work style and dual beam design, Sofirn have included a wrist strap and clip, so you can use this in the same way you would a traditional style flashlight, yet with the benefit of a flood beam built into the side body and the RGB LEDs.

As well as fast charging via the type C port, you can also use the IF23 as a power bank to charge a phone or other device. The highest input and output is rated to 3 amps (4V).

A rugged style body has a hardened glass lens cover, and using A6061-T6 anodized aluminum alloy, it is resistant to marks and damage. IP68 ensures you can use it even in heavy rain and submersion.
