The company has a new addition to their flashlight range, this longer range model which has a throw of up to 964 metres, an impressive range for it’s relatively small size.
There are 5 power levels from a low Eco mode of 10 lumens, up to the top Turbo of 2000 lumens, and it includes 3 special modes: A normal strobe, SOS, and Beacon for emergency signalling.
Powered by a rechargeable 21700 Li-ion rechargeable battery with a high capacity of 5000mAh, it’s capable of running up to 100 hours on the lowest output (Eco mode 10 lumens).
Type C charging port is built into the body with a speed of 5V 2A for rapid charging, and features a screw over collar, which protects the port and ensure that dirt/water stay out. This cover is stronger than the typical rubber or silicone ones most flashlights have.
The body of the Sofirn SF26 Tactical Flashlight is cast from strong AL6061-T6 Aluminum alloy which is durable and long lasting, it’s also been heat treated to resist marks.
The SF26 flashlight is rated to IPX8 dust and water resistance, and can be used in all type of weather, plus it’s been impact tested to a drop height of 1 metre.
It’s still quite a small flashlight at 149mm x 60mm (length x head diameter), easy to carry such a compact size in a jacket or pocket.

Sofirn are using the Luminus SFT40 LED which has a color temperature of 6000-6500K.
Using a custom designed reflector which is combined with a PMMA TIR optical lens, it’s cable of an impressive throw of 964 metres, yet still provide some usable spill at closer distances.
5 output levels let you pick the power you need, from a power saving close up light using only 10 lumens (Eco), with 3 more levels rated to 100, 300, and 1000 lumens, topping out at 2000 lumens in Turbo. Even at the medium level of 300 lumens this flashlight can reach 405 metres, further than many flashlights can in Turbo mode!
Highest candela is 232,625cd in Turbo. With the Strobe and Beacon modes also using 2000 lumens, and the SOS rated to 600 lumens.
