A newly updated version from Sofirn, whose ever expanding range of lights, now includes this compact small flashlight with dual switches.
It features 8 modes including 5 power levels and three strobe modes (SOS, Strobe, Beacon), the strobe modes are useful for emergencies or signalling.
Power is supplied via an 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery (choice to buy the flashlight with or without the cell), and can be conveniently charged in the body of the flashlight with the type C charging port. Also included is a low battery warming (red LED on side switch).
Main body is made from premium grade AL6061-T6 aluminum alloy body, which has a hardened coating. It’s both water resistant and drop tested.
It’s small size makes it a good choice for a pocket or EDC carry, at 122mm x 25mm x 25.2mm (length x body x head diameter) and a weight of just 120g (with battery).
Dual switches with 5 power levels and 3 special modes
A total of 8 modes includes the 5 levels with the top output of 2000 lumens, giving users a good range of output choices for multiple uses including a lower moonlight mode. 3 special strobe modes are here too.
Thanks to the dual switch design, operation is very simple with the tail switch for On/Off and momentary, and the side switch for changing the levels and access to the strobe modes. Mode memory is also present. And the usual over charge/discharge protection is built into the flashlight.
