A tiny flashlight to appeal to users who demand quality, yet also want an EDC model that is so small they can fit it to a keychain/ring and take it with them everywhere.
Using a small AAAA alkaline battery for power, it’s a convenient design made as expected with high quality materials. It comes with a clip/snap hook (non rotating) for attaching to a belt loop, bag or other item like a zip, and is easily carried around without taking up much space at all.
The single LED is rated to 20 lumens power output, with a candela of 120, and measured beam distance of 22 metres, which is more than adequate for normal usage, such as finding keys, seeing where you are walking at night. Run time is around 1 hour.
Operation is very simple and designed for one handed use, with grooves on the head with a rotating head to turn it on and off. The single power level also simplifies the user experience.
As expected from Streamlight, the body is high grade aluminum alloy, using 6000 series metal, with anodising to protect against marks and scratches.
It’s shock resistant, drop tested to 2 metres and it’s been dust and water tested too. Passing a rating of IPX7, it’s capable of water resistance for up to 30 minutes (at 1 metre)。
Size is only 5.7cm in length, with a weight of 18g. It’s backed with Stremlight’s limited lifetime warranty for peace of mind.
