Slim, tactical style model from Streamlight has a premium build and multiple power sources. It is available in Coyote Tan and Black colors.
Power can be supplied via 2 ways, a rechargeable Li-ion power pack with USB-C port built in (charge time around 4 hours), or with 2 x AA cells which are readily available.
Top level on high is 550 lumens, but also features a lower mode of 40 lumens (with Li-ion power pack), strobe is also included. Impressive run times here too with a 16 hour total (40lm power pack) or 48 hours with the AA cells (low 18 lumens).
A removable pocket clip is supplied and a holster, with a fine knurling on the body it’s a secure grip even when wet, and has an anti roll head design with flat edges.
High grade build quality as expected from Streamlight, with heat treated aluminum alloy body, and it has a glass lens which is gasket sealed for improved dust and waster resistance (rated to IPX7) 1 metre submersion, and 2 metres impact resistance.
Length is just 15.3cm and a weight of only 99g.
Ten Tap 3 user programmable modes, with a longer range 203 metre beam
The 3 programmable modes are user selectable including a high/strobe/low (default), high only, and low/high (no strobe. This gives you a choice how you wish to use the flashlight.
Thanks to the lens design, this model features an excellent range up around 203 metres (high 550 lumens mode). A low of 40 lumens reaches 54 metres, and a strobe is included for emergency use.
On AA power the high level is 270 lumens (range 141 metres), 18 lumens low.
U shape tail cap gives quick access to the UI, with a double tap for strobe, single press for On/Off and momentary mode, and quick access to low with a triple press. Access to the programmable modes is by tapping 9 times, holding it down on the 10th tap, thus preventing users from accidentally changing their setting.
