This headlamp uses power from either AA (Lithium or Alkaline), or you can use CR123A cells, these options mean you have a very easy source of power supply for the headlamp wherever you might be. Power output varies depending on battery used.
An extensive range of accessories are available with helmet mounts, head strap, tactical mounts, straps, MOLLE attachments, and rail mounts etc.

Depending on the model you pick, there are multiple outputs in addition to the main White LED, UV, and Red/Green/Blue.

Main white LED has 4 levels of power from 275 lumens down to 5 lumens (using CR123A cell), plenty of choice for all distances, with a maximum reach of 113 metres.
A clever pull and turn rotary knob allows you to make mode changes and pick the LED color, and also prevents accidental switching of modes. With a 185 degree tilt on the headlamp letting you position it at the angle you need. Streamlight also provided an emergency survival mode, which provides up to 100 hours of lighting continuously.
