This new range from Streamlight has 2 offerings, the TLR-7 X flashlight is aimed at users who want a high performance weapon light, with the X Countour version, this has a more streamlined longer body and is also designed for one handed weapon use.
Both variants have an output of 500 lumens with a range of 140 metres.
The TLR-7 X Flashlight Is offered in 2 colors, Black and Flat Dark Earth, with the X Countour Black only.
Using CR123A cells or Streamlights SL-B9 battery packs, giving wider compatibility and extended run times (1.5 hours CR123A).
Rail grip clamping system has a secure fit and, various models available (contour version) for Glock or Sig Sauer. The TLR-7 X has a standard rail mount. Rail grip glamp can be locked or removed without touching the front part of the weapon, for added safety.
High end build with both lights using anodised aluminum alloy, with IPX7 rating for water submersion up to 1 metre for 30 minutes.
Length of the Countour X is 11.68cm, with a weight of 76.3g (CR123A battery), with the TLR-7 X a shorter 6.55cm and a weight of 74.8g (CR123A battery).
Output up to 140 metres range low profile designs
Using a custom designed reflector, the beam on both models is the same output at 5000cd, and 500 lumens with a range of up to 140 metres. More than enough for short to medium distances.
TLR-7 X flashlight has an ambidextrous paddle switch at the read with High and low options, and a strobe with a lock out function. Countour one has the dual sided switch too, but with a momentary option, this also has a strobe function too.
