To compete in lumen war and to provide flashlight fans with massive output flashlight for any outdoor activities, Lumintop is releasing their brand new 16,000 lumens flashlight named Rattlesnake.
Rattlesnake is a multi-purpose USB-C rechargeable outdoor flashlight. It utilizes the high-performance SFP55 LED and delivers a max of up to 16000 lumens output on Turbo with maximum distance of 800 meters. That’s a fair amount of distance since the reflector is orange peel style.
The body is made from type III HA anodized aluminum with stainless steel strike bezel. With anti slip knurling on the body, Lumintop Rattlesnake will be comfortable to be handled even with a glove. The dimension is pretty compact with just 13 centimeters length, about 5 centimeters in diameter, and 404 grams weight (without battery).
To withstand in any outdoor condition, Lumintop Rattlesnake has IP68 rating and can be submerged 2 meters deep into the water and has 1.5 meters impact resistance.
|Waterproof||IP68, underwater 2m|
|Light Source||High-performance SFP55 LED|
|Battery||2 X 21700 Li-ion (Built-in)|
|Net Weight||~404g (battery included)|
Output & Runtime
Lumintop Rattlesnake has 6 output levels with additional strobe, SOS, and beacon for emergencies.
The following approximate data are lab-tested by using the built-in two 21700 Li-ion batteries which may vary due to the difference between the environment and batteries. The runtime on High and turbo are accumulated due to the over-heat protection settings.
|Eco||Low||Med||High 1||High 2||Turbo||Strobe/SOS/Beacon|
Powered by 2 x 21700 (built-in) batteries, it means the flashlight has enough juice for maximum runtime and maximum power. At medium brightness level (1000 lumens) the flashlight will light for 3 hours, that’s a lot of light and enough time for searching person or goods in the wilderness.
When the power is low, Rattlesnake can be charged using its USB-C charging port that has indicators and over-charge/discharge protection to keep the battery health.
To speed up the charging process, Rattlesnake is adopting QC3.0/PD3.0 quick charging protocol with 4A maximum charging current. The charging cable is also provided for the convenience of use.
Lumintop Rattlesnake is easy to operate single handedly using its electronic side switch. The translucent rubber switch has backlight that makes Rattlesnake stays visible in the dark. The green illuminated bunny logo will make it easier to find this flashlight in the night.
To protect it from accidental activation when stored in backpack or pocket, Rattlesnake featured with lockout mode as well. As any other modern flashlight do, battery voltage check procedure can also be done using the side switch.
For more visibility, four turbo glow tubes are inserted on its tail cap. It’s also designed to be used in tail stand position. A clip is attached on one side of the body and a metal plate with Lumintop letters embossed is attached on the other side.
