This tiny yet capable flashlight from Thrunite has a dual power source for user convenience.It can take a 14500 rechargeable Li-ion battery (included), or a standard AA cell (Alkaline or Ni-MH are supported).
The Saber has an option for Neutral and Cool White emitters, with the Cooler white offering increased range/output, and the Neutral white having a more natural higher color rendering index.
Maximum output is 659 lumens (14500 battery), with a range of 141 metres, with a lower level also selectable. Run time is up to 19 hours (low 57 lumens mode 14500 battery).Thrunite are using their premium type III hardened aluminum body material and is rated to IPX8 for water and dust resistance (2 metres), and it is drop tested to 1.5 metres.

2 power levels with dual power sources
Thrunite have a PMMA TIR optical lens designed to give a good mix of beam pattern, ideal for use at longer or closer distances With a Candela of 5000cd it’s beam it gives a wide beam, but with diffused hot spot for enhanced range.
The highest level of 659 lumens is available using the 14500 Li-ion battery, a lower output of 57 lumens is better suited for closer up work, or if you wish to preserve battery life. Using AA Ni-MH battery, you can expect a high mode of 235 lumens, with a low mode of 24 lumens. As AA cells are easy to find and recharge, you have a very plentiful source of additional power if you need it.
Range in high mode for the 14500 battery is 141 metres, and 90 metres with Ni-MH.Charging is directly on the 14500 battery and is done with a USB C port, it features charging/completed LED indicators, and has over discharge/charge, short circuit protection built in.
Simple single tail cap UI
Thrunite’s easy to find tail cap switch is easy to find, even wearing gloves. It’s simple interface means you can quickly turn On/Off the flashlight, and select the lower power level if needed. That’s it, no huge number of modes or outputs, just the convenience of a small compact flashlight with 2 power levels.
A double clip is also supplied, letting you attach it to a pocket/bag or other item. This is a very useful carry anywhere flashlight, for home, the office, work or out and about. And small enough so you don’t even know you are carrying it. A fine knurling pattern on the body and tail cap provides superior grip.
Excellent built quality thanks to the AL 6061-T6 aluminum alloy body, with heat treat glass cover and anti reflective coatings, it is water/dust resistant thanks to the IPX8 rating, and drop tested to 1.5 metres.
