A new ultra compact keychain flashlight from Trustfire, this time the Mini2s, a very useful item to have with your keys, with a built in rechargeable Li-ion battery, simple twist operation and small enough to fit on any keychain, backpack, or slip into a pocket without taking up any real space.
Using a rotary switch operation, you simply rotate the head, which also conceals the charging port, the head has an anti lost design so it can’t unscrew and fall off.
2 power levels are present with the highest output of 220 lumens, it can reach up to 57 metres range, the low is 1.5 lumens for up close activities. The run time on the 1.5lm (low) level is an impressive 26 hours.
The body features plenty of knurling for improved grip, a cut out hole on the base allows ring attachment and either use with a lanyard or keychain.
Using a high grade aluminum alloy body material the Mini2s is a tough unit, and can last up to 2 metres in water, is dustproof too thanks to the IPX8 rating.
It’s size is 55.2mm x 15.3mm (length x width) and has a weight of 18.5g (with battery).
2 Power Levels with a range of up to 57 metres
Sometimes you want more power to see larger areas, this is where the 220 lumens output is perfect, with an even beam it’s ideal lighting up wider areas, and can still reach a useful 57 metres distance. When you need a much lower output, the 1.5 lumens is ideal when you are using it at much shorter ranged, where a high output would be too overpowering.
Inside the Trustfire Mini 2S is a built in Li-ion battery rated to 120mAh capacity, and it can be charged via the micro USB port (which is revealed when unscrewing the head), it takes only 30 minutes to charge from flat. Next to the port is an LED indicator showing charge status (Red/Green).

Operating the Mini 2s is as easy as it gets, simply twist to turn it On/Off and select the power level from High/Low. You also unscrew it for charging showing the micro USB port, but it won’t fall off as the design prevent it from doing so, thus removing the problem of losing the head.
