Using a flatter oval shape body, Trustfire have an alternative to the wedge style flashlights we’ve seen recently. The Mini X7 has a built in laser/rangefinder and higher capacity rechargeable battery, giving it a unique place for an EDC offering, or as a work light.
Users have a choice of 3 attractive colors, Black, Midnight Blue, and Gray Titanium Gold.
The main flashlight has 4 power levels from a super low of 2.5 lumens, up to 750 lumens, which is plenty of light for such a compact size offering. The useful red laser can be a pointer and thanks to a highly accurate system, give concise readings for distance. With a large display giving the information on distance, accurate to within +/- 2mm. It displays in metric and imperial measurements and offers a calibration mode too. The backlight makes it easy to see even in darkness.
The built in battery is high capacity at 3000mAh (similar to an 18650 cell), with type C charging, with a power bank function so you can charge phones or other devices from the Mini X7. Run times up to 105 hours at the lowest 2.5 lumens output.
Back of the flashlight has a stainless steel clip (dual direction design) and the base is magnetic.
Side body knurling gives grip, and it’s made from high quality anodised aluminum alloy, with a rating of IPX6 for water and dust resistance is difficult weather conditions. It’s passed a drop test of 1 metres distance.
A great size for EDC with dimensions of 121mm x 38mm x 33.5mm (length x width x height), weight is just 164.2g (with the battery).
Bigger capacity battery for long run times, accurate Laser rangefinder
By using a more oval shape design, Trustfire have a larger than normal capacity cell rated to 3000mAh, with the combined output of 4 levels for the main light (it can reach up to 115 metres range), this could be one of the best all purpose/working lights with the integrated laser rangefinder taking measurements quick and accurately.
Dual switches one of the side to select mode (slider switch) with a main switch to cycle the output levels, this also has a built in battery level indicator making it easy to see how much is left in the cell (4 levels), and of course a charge indicator too.
