This impressively small flashlight is another useful addition to the range of models from Wurkkos. The TS12 Mini runs off a 14500 battery, making it a small and lightweight form factor.
Yet it’s powerful beam can still reach as far as 432 metres (at the top 1050 lumen output), and it features 3 other levels and a strobe mode.
Simple operation is provided via a well placed side switch, and a built in type C charging port lets you charge the cell quickly and efficiently.
Using a high grade aluminum alloy body, with stainless steel bezel, the TS12 Mini is built to last, and features a IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The base/tail cap is magnetic too, so you can attach it to metal surfaces if you wish, and it could make for a useful working light.
It’s remarkably tiny for such a good range, at just 90.8mm x 33mm (length x head diameter), it can fit into any pocket or bag easily, and it’s just 75g in weight (without the battery).
4 Power levels with up to 432 metres range, single switch UI
Wurkkos are using a great and new LED emitter the YLX N3535B (circular LED), combined with a smooth custom designed reflector it’s able to achieve a very useful range of 432 metres, at the top power level of 1050 lumens.
3 additional power levels are available including a low mode of 10 lumens (more suited to up close activities), and a strobe mode (also 1050 lumens) is built in too for emergency use or self defence.
Beam profile has a spotlight of 7 degrees, with an outer beam of 78 degrees, this gives you a tight longer range beam, but also a good spill particularly at higher levels.
Using the type C port you can recharge the supplied 14500 Li-ion battery (which is rated to 900mAh).
A simple side switch UI lets you press for On/Off, and push/hold to cycle the power levels. And it has shortcuts to moonlight and Turbo modes, with a lock out function.
On the switch is an LED indicator for battery and charge levels too, so you always have a good idea of the power left or charge status.
This is a very neat and tiny flashlight, well built and rated to IP68 for use in all weather conditions, and featuring a good quality aluminum alloy body, with hardened glass cover and stainless steel bezel.
