Affordable, yet offering a host of useful features including a multi beam output for use at closer and longer distances, and a Red light output too.
Main LED’s are from Luminus with a top level of 2500 lumens (combined output) and maximum range of 297 meters, and have a lower output level of 5 lumens and a moonlight of 1 lumen. With Spotlight and Floodlight options, you can also combine both for a mix of beams. The top level on Spot is 2000 lumens and 1800 lumens on floodlight. Red has a useful 3 power levels from 1 lumen up to 130 lumens with a flashing mode too.
Power is by a single 18650 cell and can be charged via USB C at a fast 5V 2A rate. It comes with a perforated adjustable and removable headband, which also have reflective markings and a top strap to ensure greater stability and a better head fit.
Body material is made from AL 6061-T6 Aluminum alloy, with hard type III anodising finish. Rated to IP66 dust and water resistance, it’s been drop tested to 1 metre too.
The main body is 94mm length x 26mm diameter, weight is just 70g (not battery), and can be purchased with or without an 18650 cell.
Choice of Spotlight, Floodlight and Red Light outputs, with light sensor adjustment
The HD16 uses a specially made TIR optical lens for improved beam output and efficiency, giving a flood beam spread of 51 degrees, and a spotlight focus of 9 degrees. In addition to this you can also set it for a combined output beam which has a total range of 273 metres, providing a good distance throw with a wider flood beam is very useful to have.
Built in smart light sensor adjusts the output.
A large side positioned rotary switch makes for simple operation with or without gloves, and the headlamp also has a low battery warning built into it. Constant current buck driver provides a flicker free experience.
