Offering multiple outputs and modes the HD 17 has a very strong feature set, yet remains very affordable whilst maintaining high quality.

There are 3 main modes of output, a spot, flood, and a combination mode or spotlight and floodlight. the company has also included a red light output. This is useful for helping preserve night vision or a more discreet light for hunting.

Power is via an 18650 lithium ion battery, with long run times of around 236 hours at the lowest output of 5 lumens. Built in USB-C charging port also has charge level and battery level indicators.

Comes with a high quality adjustable headband with reflective markings, with the main cradle adjustable to 180 degrees allowing for perfect placement of the light. Included is a two way clip and the magnetic tail cap attaches to metal objects which makes it a useful working light.

Build quality is to a high level thanks to the anodised aluminum alloy construction on the main body. It's been drop tested, and water and dust resistant tested to IPX 6. Compact and lightweight make it suitable for many tasks including camping work, at home, or various sport activities.

Thanks to the multiple beam outputs this headlamp offers extreme flexibility for many uses. the spotlight mode is capable of reaching 220 metres beam distance with an output of 1650 lumens. Flood mode is also rated in turbo to 1650 lumens, and has a beam distance of 99 metres with a much wider spread of light. The combined mode offers both Spot and Floodlight with a top level of 2500 Lumens and a range of 220 metres. There are 5 levels of power from the spot and flood mode, down to a low Eco mode of 5 lumens.

Red light also has an unusually high output making it very useful the top level has 270 lumens and a range of 101 metres, and it also has 2 lower power levels with the lowest output of 9 lumens.
