This model from Wurkkos is the smaller of the two latest releases, but still features a powerful output and a longer range tactical style beam.
It has 4 power levels and strobe, with a top output of 1800 lumens, with a quoted range of 353 metres (Turbo), that’s well above average for a flashlight and useful for users who want a model with a more focussed beam.
It’s powered via a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery (rated to 3000mAh capacity), and can run up to 34 hours in the lowest mode (low 50 lumens).
USB-C charging is on the flashlight body, this has a protective silicone cover and also has a charge level LED indicator built in. As usual over charge, and discharge protection are featured here, as well as reverse polarity protection too.
Wurkkos are using Aerospace quality Aluminum alloy 6061 grade, which is also anodized with a heat treatment to resist marks and damage.
IP68 weather resistance means it’s usable in all types of conditions including heavy rain and water submersion, and drop tested to 1 metre too.
It’s a compact size too ideal for an EDC or pocket carry, with a length of 126.6mm x 28mm (length x head diameter), and just 78g without the battery.
Longer range 353 metres beam with 4 power levels
The TD03 Tactical Flashlight is using the popular Luminus SFT40 LED, with a color temperature of around 5000K (close to daylight, and somewhat warmer in tint).
Using a smooth reflector it’s able to reach 353 metres in the top output of 1800 lumens, with 3 additional lower levels also present. (1000, 350, 50 lumens) Giving users a choice of output and a more appropriate power at closer distances. Strobe mode is also here at the same 1800 lumens level, useful for emergency use or self defence.
UI is very easy with a tail rotary switch and single button, it’s simple to use and intuitive. Users have a choice of stepped and tactical models, selected by rotating the dial on the tail cap.
