Ideal for an EDC or pocket carry, the new TD05 flashlight from Wurkkos is both compact in size, and has a tactical style but also retains some useful features for users.
With a solid output of 1800 lumens and 5 power levels, it also has a Strobe and SOS mode, and can run up to 100 hours at the lowest Eco mode (10 lumens). Many uses such as camping, EDC or general household/work.
Running on a single 18650 battery, this rechargeable cell is charged via the Type C port on the flashlight, and has a high 3000mAh capacity. Power indicator is shown with the side switch clearly and quickly letting you know how much is left in the cell.
Built to last using aero grade 6061 aluminum alloy, this is also anodised with type III finish which is resistant to marks and damage. Toughened glass lens cover protects the main LED. Wurkkos have also sealed the body with IP68 water and dust resistance, with a drop test to 1.5 metres.
It’s a nice compact size too at just 135.5mm x 28.5mm (length x head diameter) and a weight of 83g (including the battery).
5 Power levels with 2 Strobe modes and a range of 373 metres
LED is the well known Luminus SFT40, which is capable of a high power output of 1800 lumens, with 4 lower levels, 2 strobe modes. Suitable for use in a variety of applications and distances. Thanks to the orange peel reflector, the beam is well balanced, yet it can still reach up to a very respectable 373 metres distance. A tighter 11 degree throw and 58 degree flood has a mixed beam spread.
Dual switches provide simple and effective operation of the flashlight, The tactical style with the U shape tail cap, and side switch is intuitive and quick to learn. A mode memory is also included in the UI
A removable stainless steel double clip is supplied for attaching to a pocket/bag or pack.
