Xtar have a notable upgrade with their new D30 diving flashlight. It’s not only a powerful light source, but strong enough to survive the rigours of underwater use and proved a high CRI light output. Triple LED output with a unique beam profile suitable for use at greater depths.
It’s also well suited to underwater video and photography, with it’s natural color reproduction, and wide beam.
A clever lock function prevents the light from coming on by accident, the switch can be rotated 90 degrees to lock or unlock it.
The D30 diving flashlight also have a very visible clear LED indicator for the battery level, Green indicates power is over 20%, Red shows it 5-20%, and Red flashing is critical (under 5%).
It has built in reverse polarity protection, and is powered by 4×18650 rechargeable batteries.
It is rated for use to a depth of 100 metres, has an advanced AL6063 aluminum alloy body with the premium type III hard finishing to resist damage. It’s impacts tested for 1.5 metres.
Palm size design is 157mm x 62mm (length x diameter), and a weight of 610g (without batteries).
High CRI 6000 lumens output with long sustained high power output
Xtar have designed the D30 to output the high 6000 lumens power for a period of around 40 minutes, with fresh cells. Giving a good run time over this period (total run time is about 50 minutes with a drop down to 1000 lumens after forty minutes).
High CRI XHP502 J2 LED’s are capable of superior color rendering, with accurate colors (rated to 5000K color temperature).140 degree super wide beam lights up a large area, but can also reach a distance of around 89 metres.
