With a strong body and high water resistance rating (up to 100 metres), this new Hunter HD1 flaslight is a rugged and powerful diving light. This light can also be used for camping, fishing, day trips and hiking not just for diving.
A tighter longer range beam has a power level of 1600 lumens has a range of 355 metres, and up to 2.5 hours run time.
Powered via a single 21700 battery, the Hunter flashlight also has a battery level warning, with a red indicator lighting up at 30 minutes (before shutdown) and a critical warning at 10 minutes (flashlight red). This gives the diver plenty of time to see how much power is left in the light.
Xtar have also included mechanical locking, so that you can safely use the light or store it without accidental activation.
A newly designed circuit has an impressive efficiency of 92%, ensuring the maximum performance and improved battery life.
Premium quality materials are important for a flashlight with use under water, and Xtar are using aero quality aluminum alloy, with a HA III hard coating. it’s been impact tested to 1.5 metres, waterproof rating to IPX8 for up to 100 meters submersion. Reliable operation, thanks to the strong sealing and water protection.

Narrow beam of 355 metres ideal for underwater use up to 100 metres depth
A high candela beam uses the Luminus SST-40 LED, rated to 31450cd, a spot beam angle of 5 degrees, and a wider beam of 60 degrees. Ensures a tight longer range of up to 355 metres. This is needed as normal wide beams won’t be able to penetrate the water or provide effective illumination for a diver.
Color temperature is 6500K, cooler white output has increased range and power. (CRI is rated to 70).
The HD1 can operated in extreme temperatures too, from -20 degrees Celsius, to 40 degrees Celsius.
