High-Output Multi-LED Design

The Convoy 3X21C uses a multi-emitter configuration paired with orange-peel reflectors to produce powerful, broad illumination.

25A Buck + 54A FET Driver

At the heart of the 3X21C is a high-performance driver capable of delivering 25A through the buck circuit, with a 54A FET Turbo mode available for maximum-output bursts.

The regulated buck driver provides efficient operation across normal output levels, while the FET mode unlocks the flashlight's maximum-output capability when an intense burst of illumination is needed.

A built-in temperature-control system automatically manages output under demanding conditions to help protect the flashlight from excessive heat.

Triple 21700 Battery Power

The 3X21C is powered by three unprotected 21700 Li-ion batteries, providing the energy capacity needed to support its high-output multi-LED system.

Compared with conventional single-cell flashlights, the triple-battery configuration provides considerably greater energy reserves, making the 3X21C particularly suitable for extended outdoor use and situations where both high output and useful runtime are important.

For optimal performance, use three matching high-quality 21700 cells of the same model, capacity, condition, and charge level.

USB-C Charging with PD Support

The integrated USB Type-C charging interface allows the batteries to be charged inside the flashlight without removing them.

The charging system supports PD fast charging, making recharging the large three-cell battery system more convenient.

For standard charging, Convoy recommends using a USB Type-A to Type-C cable with a 5V adapter.

Reverse Charging – Use It as a Power Bank

The 3X21C also supports reverse charging, allowing the large-capacity three-cell battery system to provide power to compatible external devices.

With PD fast-charging support for reverse charging, the flashlight can serve as an emergency power source for compatible electronics when you're away from a conventional power outlet.

This makes the 3X21C more than just a high-output flashlight — its substantial battery capacity can also provide useful backup power during camping, travel, or emergencies.

Smooth Ramping or Stepped Output

The user interface gives you two different ways to control brightness.

In ramping mode, press and hold the side switch to smoothly increase or decrease output until you reach the brightness you need.

Users who prefer conventional fixed brightness levels can switch to a 4-mode interface:

0.6A → 1.5A → 7.5A → 25A

This allows the 3X21C to work equally well for low-level illumination, general outdoor use, or maximum-performance applications.

Quick Access to Turbo

Need maximum illumination immediately?

A double-click from either ON or OFF provides quick access to the 25A Turbo mode.

For an even more intense burst of output, double-click and hold to activate the 54A FET Turbo mode. Release the switch and the flashlight returns to its previous operating state.

This momentary maximum-output function makes it easy to access extreme brightness only when it's actually needed.

Ultra-Low Moonlight Mode

Maximum output isn't always necessary.

From OFF, press and hold the switch to access the ultra-low 0.005A Moonlight mode. It provides extremely low-level illumination for situations where preserving night vision or minimizing unnecessary light is more important than raw brightness.

Moonlight mode is intentionally excluded from mode memory.

Electronic Lockout

Because the 3X21C is capable of extremely high output, accidental activation should be avoided during transportation.

A 10-click electronic lockout prevents unintended operation. When locked, the flashlight flashes briefly in response to switch input to indicate that the lock is active.

For additional safety when carrying the flashlight in a bag, physically loosen the connection between the battery tube and flashlight head to prevent accidental activation.

Built for Serious Outdoor Use

The 3X21C uses a robust aluminum-alloy body with an AR-coated glass lens and orange-peel reflectors.

Its substantial 74mm head provides the space required for the multi-emitter optical system, while the included handle makes the 536g flashlight easier to carry and control during high-output operation.

The flat tail design also allows the flashlight to tail stand, turning it into a powerful stationary area light when needed.
