The Jetbeam 2MS is a small high performance linear flashlight capable of reaching a maximum brightness of 2000 lumens with a single 21700 cell. It is equipped with a single high efficiency CREE XHP35 LED which enables this flashlight, along with the Jetbeam optical system. patented, to reach the distance of 285 meters equal to 20306 candles. The design is extremely compact therefore the flashlight is particularly comfortable to carry but also to hold. The dimensions are 146.7mm long, 31mm head diameter, 28mm body diameter. The weight is 98.5 grams excluding the battery. The body is made entirely of aluminum alloy with a hard anodized finish of the HAIII type. Near the head there are deep dissipation fins that allow to disperse the heat produced by the LED when the light is used on the high level. In the central part of the body and on the tail cap there are knurling processes that guarantee a perfect grip and an excellent grip. The flashlight has a tail switch that allows you to turn the light on or off but also allows you to access the momentary mode of the light. Momentary mode allows the light to be kept on as long as the user presses the switch. The moment the switch is released the light turns off. In addition to the tail switch, there is a second side switch which allows you to select the different output levels and access the stroboscopic flashing mode. The particular design of the U-shaped switch allows you to easily access the tail switch with one hand and turn on the light in a very simple way. There is the function of direct access to the strobe by simply holding the switch pressed when the light is off. When in strobe mode pressing the side switch further will exit strobe mode and enter the last used output level. The side switch inside also has a LED status indicator that lights up red or green to indicate the amount of remaining charge or to indicate the charging progress: When the light is steady green it means that the battery is fully charged, when the light is flashing green it means that the battery is sufficient, when the light is flashing red it means that the battery has a low capacity while when the light is steady red it means that the battery it has an extremely low capacity and needs to be recharged. The Status LED also lights up red and green when charging the battery: when the red light means that the charge is in progress while when the green light means that the charge has been completed and the battery is fully charged. On the opposite side of the side switch there is the Type-C charging interface that allows you to charge the battery inside the flashlight without having to extract it. The charging interface is well protected by a thick rubber cap that prevents dust, dirt and water from getting inside. The flashlight can be powered from a single 5100mAh 21700 cell included in the package. Alternatively, you can also use 20700 and 18650 lithium rechargeable batteries to power this flashlight.
