The Nitecore EDC27 is an rechargeable EDC torch with a unique and innovative design. Its body is very slim Ultra Slim and hence this flashlight is easy to carry anywhere. The performances of this model are exceptional, in fact it is able to release a turbo of 3000 lumens. The maximum distance that can be reached is 220 m while the maximum light intensity is 12,200 candles when the torch is turned on at turbo. The maximum runtime is 37 hours corresponding to approximately 1.50 days. The battery is integrated and is rechargeable lithium ion. It has the capacity of 1700 mAh and can be recharged directly via the Type-C port on the flashlight. The body of the EDC27 is made of stainless steel with Physical Vapor Deposition titanium coating which guarantees the torch high qualities of rigidity, abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. In addition to this, the body has a fine frosted matte finish, scratch and fingerprint resistant. The EDC27 is equipped with a hybrid dissipation system that combines a copper layer which, coupled with the aluminum of the body, allows the heat produced by the torch to be effectively dissipated when it is used at high levels.

Interface management is entrusted to two switches in the queue. They are dual stage tactical buttons with Turbo Ready and Strobe ready functions: functions for quick access to Turbo and strobe which are essential for tactical applications. On the back of the EDC27 there is a stainless steel belt clip that allows you to attach the flashlight to any type of clothing such as pockets, belts, backpacks, hats and bags. Among the characteristics of the Nitecore EDC27 is that of having a small OLED display which allows it to provide information on the output level used, the remaining runtime, the battery voltage and the lockout status. The Type-C charging port is located at the rear, laterally and is well protected by a thick rubber cap that prevents dirt and water from penetrating inside. There are two lockout modes: Half lockout mode where the Power Button is locked while the Mode Button is available to access turbo and Strobe. Full lockout mode in which both buttons are not available to be activated, ideal for storing or carrying the flashlight inside a backpack, thus avoiding the danger of possible accidental ignitions. Efficient constant current circuit provides constant brightness throughout battery life. The impact resistance of this flashlight is given up to 1 m in height while the water resistance is guaranteed by the IP54 standard. The possible output levels are: Turbo 3000 lumens, High level 1000 lumens, Med level 200 lumens, Low level 65 lumens, Ultra Low level 15 lumens and Stroboscopic level 3000 lumens. The memory function is also available at the output level which allows it to remember the last level that has been used by the user and to propose it again at the next switch on.
