The Wurkkos DL16 is a torch created exclusively for underwater use, therefore by divers or fishermen. Emitter: This light is equipped with a single LUMINUS SST40 5300-5700 K LED capable of producing a powerful and long throw beam of 2000 lumens. The beam output has these characteristics: Spot beam angle: 11°; Beam angle: 73°; The reflector is smooth while the lens is thick, in mineral glass and with double anti-reflection treatment. The operating voltage is 2.7V – 4.2V and the FET step-down circuit. Power is supplied by 1 rechargeable Li-Ion 18650 battery. 

The dimensions are extremely compact in fact they are: 129.4 mm (length) x 35 mm (head diameter) while the weight is 103 g (without battery). The body of the flashlight is aerospace grade 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, CNC machined by hard anodizing according to military grade type III specifications, anti-abrasive finish to achieve a solid body, shockproof geometry and better heat transfer. The impact and scratch resistant hardened mineral glass lens. The water resistance is IP68, there is also reverse polarity protection to protect against improper battery installation. 

Advanced Temperature Regulation Technology (ATR) automatically reduces the brightness level when the driver's temperature reaches 55°C to prevent overheating. There is low voltage warning so when the battery voltage is low, the switch indicator will start flashing red to remind you to replace the battery. Please replace the battery in time to avoid any danger when diving. The water resistance allows this light to be used even at great depths of up to 100 meters underwater, therefore it is an ideal flashlight for scuba diving. 

There is an LED indicator on the flashlight which shows the status of the charge amount of the cell for 5 seconds after power on: Green means the remaining battery power is good (more than 30%), Red means the remaining battery power is low (less than 30%), Flashing red means that power is critical, replace or recharge the battery as soon as possible. The particular design of the body makes this light ergonomic, easy to grip and always guarantees a perfect grip. 

The materials are of excellent quality, the thicknesses particularly abundant because they have to resist the great depths of the sea and the pressure of the water. The tail has large holes that allow the insertion of lanyards for transport and wrist straps, essential when diving to avoid losing the light.

Power Indicator
