The XTAR Venus WK16 is a small, compact and lightweight EDC flashlight capable of illuminating with a maximum power beam of 550 lumens. This flashlight is equipped with a CREE XP-G3 LED with a lifespan of over 50000 hours. The user interface is simple and intuitive, everything is managed via the single switch inside the torch. The switch is located at the rear and protruding, rubberized and easy to activate. Its surface is dotted and offers excellent grip. When a ringing click is pressed. The output levels are divided as follows: Low with 10 lumens and 13.6 hours of autonomy, Medium with 200 lumens and 3.16 hours of autonomy High with 550 lumens and 47 minutes of autonomy. There is also a level 550 lumens stroboscopic. The maximum distance reached is 125 m, while the maximum light intensity is 3900 candles. This torch is powered by alkaline or Ni-MH AA batteries but also with 14500 lithium cells. The body is made entirely of corrosion resistant 6N03 aluminum thanks to its type III hard anodized finish. The dimensions are 98 mm in length, 20.5 mm in the diameter of the tail, 20.1 mm in diameter of the body and 22.6 mm, the diameter of the head. It is water resistant according to the IP standard Ipx 8, so it can be submerged up to 2m deep, while resistant to falls up to 1.5m high. The weight is 44.3 grams, excluding battery. In the package, in addition to the flashlight, comes a stainless steel belt clip, a user manual, the Warranty Card, an MC1 type charger, a USB charging cable, a 600 mAh Li-ion 14500 battery, a wrist strap and a spare o-ring. The output varies according to the cell used. In fact, when using the supplied li-ion 14500 800 mAh battery, the maximum brightness is 550 lumens, while the medium level is 204 lumens and the low level is 14 lumens. When using a NI-MH cell, however, the maximum brightness is 237 lumens, while the Medium level is 124 lumens, the low level is 14 lumens. If instead an alkaline type cell is used, the high level is 211 lumens, the medium level 123 lumens, the low level 14 lumens.

Given its particularly small size, this torch is ideal for always being carried with you, for example in your pocket, inside your bag or inside your waist bag, but it is also useful as a light, to always keep close at hand at the inside of a motorcycle or car. Thanks to the steel belt clip, this flashlight can be easily installed inside a pocket, but also on any other type of garment or on MOLLE-type systems.
